At the beginning of October 2023 there was simply a beautiful late summer weather and I was a guest in Munich. I didn't even think about the Oktoberfest at first. But since I had enough time, I took about half a day for it. I even think it was the last day of Oktoberfest.

It was a lot of fun to take pictures there. People strolled exuberantly over the Wiesn (the place, or, literally, the meadow, where the Oktoberfest takes place), everything felt very relaxed. The beer tasted good and the pretzels too.

With my Leica M9 I got great colors on the pictures. I like the photos very much. They're full of good mood.

Oide Wiesn means old meadow or old field.
