★ Green Shine ★

During my visit to the Choco area, I had the opportunity to enter primary forest for the first time. This is jungle that has not been reforested or otherwise handled by people. It's jungle that's always been there.
What was impressive was how dense the forest is. Together with a local we have moved on narrow scalier-like paths, from which you could not ultimately deviate.
The forest was located directly on the coast, not far from the small town of Bahía Solano. It was insanely damp. It had previously rained. The ground was morass. We were wearing rubber boots.
The strong green is wonderful to look at. Through all the wetness, all the leaves shine downright. In addition, the entwined branches and lianas. The wandering trees that look like someone has built a campfire.
