The Railway Museum on the edge of Bochum is a true treasure for friends of old steam and electric locomotives. Here you will find locomotives from almost all epochs of railway history up to about - don't pin me down - the 1950s.

The old machines are densely crowded here in locomotive sheds or outside on the tracks. They are restored and regularly moved back and forth. It's not supposed to rust what's going to rest here forever.
